Everyone “working” in the penitentiary – the guards and the Warden – are all trained actors who will put on an incredible show for you both. And who knows? You two may get involved in far more than you bargained for.

Go undercover with “The Rookie” ticket for an immersive theatrical experience and four bespoke cocktails. Want more? “The Associate” ticket adds a Prison Record Card souvenir with your own photo to commemorate your time inside. Or go all-in with “The Boss” ticket for canteen sweets and a branded Alcotraz mug to take home. Upgrade your sentence – some perks are worth doing extra time for.
Prices range from £42 to £66 incl booking fee, depending on the day of the week you choose. More specific prices can be found during checkout.
Special Add-On
Make the experience extra memorable by assigning your date their own unique character. With three characters to choose from, “the Janitor”, “the Mole” or “the Escape Artist”, watch them play out an integral part of the immersive storyline.

Date night ideas for non-drinkers
If neither you or your date is a fan of drinking, not to worry. Alcotraz Bristol ticks the boxes for drinkers and teetotalers alike, because we’re so much more than a bar – with something for everyone to enjoy!
Whether the two of you want to sit back and get to know each other more, or pair up to take part in bonding mini games to outsmart the warden, you’ll never experience a Bristol date night like this. And why not make it a double date, by sharing a cell and bringing along your favourite couple for the experience?
FAQs
For processing and conviction, we recommend that you wear light clothing as you will be required to wear a standard-issue Alcotraz orange jumpsuit (provided) for the duration of your stay.
Your experience will last 1 hour 45 minutes, and inmates will be provided with their own orange jumpsuit for the duration of their time behind bars.
If attending as a couple we will do our best to ensure that you are kept separate from others but on occasion this is not always possible and there is a chance that you may end up within the same cell as another couple or small group.
Our standard-issue Alcotraz jumpsuits cater to all inmates, with sizes ranging from XS to 4XL. Please note that you are free to wear your jumpsuit as you wish to make it more comfortable, such as tying the arms around your waist.
The inmates you come across behind bars are highly skilled mixologists, and they work best with smuggled spirits. But, if you prefer wine or beer, this can also be served to you… If you can get it past the Warden.
We recommend 1 x 35cl of base spirit per couple.
If drinking isn't your thing, don't worry. The Alcotraz experience is exactly the same for non-drinkers as a huge part of your time behind bars is the immersive storyline that unfolds around you where you can interact with the storylines and the actors. For those not drinking liquor, there is no need to smuggle anything in and instead, you will receive x 4 expertly crafted mocktails included within the ticket price!
